This afternoon concert not only features a feast of compositions by the UK’s most prolific wind band composer, Philip Sparke, but also showcases the stunning virtuosity of trumpet soloist Alan Thomas, currently with RAF Music and formerly Principal Trumpet of BBC Symphony Orchestra and City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
